who refused
to go blind!

Poor guy —
he’s going blind!

Thunza is losing his sight!

Thousands of miles away,
help was stirring!

Meet Thad and Angi —
animal whisperers with big hearts!

Check

Training gear?
Check.

Courage?
Double check!

a wild rhino?!

That’s the plan!

Even the locals thought
they were nuts!

Step one: make him comfy.

Step two: earn trust.

Step three… pray?

The plan — build
a chute, feed, rinse,
repeat!

Smells tasty…
maybe safe?

Easy big guy…
take your time.

Bit by bit, he learned
humans could be gentle.

Just a little spray

Huh? Not bad...

The first drop of trust
— literally!

He did it!

Ahh…
much better.

The team taught local
rangers to keep it going!

I can see again!

And because of one brave rhino
— a whole herd has hope!
